Integrations Guide

Purpose
View, search, create, and manage integrations in Exceed. Integrations allow Exceed to connect with external products and services used by the business.
This article covers the following integration screens:
- Marketplace
- My Integration Credentials
Before You Start
- You must have access to the Integrations menu.
- Integration setup should be handled by authorized users only.
- Required fields marked with
*must be completed before saving. - Make sure you select the correct product before saving an integration or credential.
- Some integration products may require additional setup outside Exceed.
Steps
View Marketplace Integrations
- Go to Integrations > Marketplace.
- Review the integrations list.
- The list displays information such as:
- Product
- Created at
- Actions
- Use this page to view available or configured integrations.
Search for an Integration
- Go to Integrations > Marketplace.
- Enter the product name in the Search field.
- Review the matching results.
- If the integration does not appear, clear the search and try again.
Create a New Integration
- Go to Integrations > Marketplace.
- Click New Integration.
- Select the Product from the dropdown.
- Click Save.
Available products may include:
- Checkr
- Dropbox Sign
- GoogleCalendar
- Intacct
- OpenAI
- Senior
- ServiceNow
- eNotas
View My Integration Credentials
- Go to Integrations > My Integration Credentials.
- Review the credentials list.
- The list displays information such as:
- Product
- Created at
- Actions
- Use this page to view credentials configured for available integrations.
Search for Credentials
- Go to Integrations > My Integration Credentials.
- Enter the product name in the Search field.
- Review the matching results.
- If the credential does not appear, clear the search and try again.
Create New Integration Credentials
- Go to Integrations > My Integration Credentials.
- Click New My Integration Credentials.
- Select the Product from the dropdown.
- Click Save.
Available credential products may include:
- hackerrank
Edit or Manage an Integration Record
- Go to Integrations > Marketplace or Integrations > My Integration Credentials.
- Find the integration or credential record.
- Click the action menu.
- Select the available action.
- Update the required information.
- Click Save.
Important Rules
- Integrations should be configured only by authorized users.
- Select the correct Product before saving.
- Marketplace integrations and integration credentials are managed in separate screens.
- Marketplace is used to create or manage integration products.
- My Integration Credentials is used to create or manage credentials related to integrations.
- Credentials may contain sensitive access information and should be handled carefully.
- Do not create duplicate integration or credential records for the same product unless there is a valid business reason.
- If an external service requires setup outside Exceed, complete that setup before testing the integration.
Common Issues
Issue: Save button does not create the integration
Likely cause: The Product field was not selected.
How to solve: Select a product from the dropdown and click Save again.
Issue: Integration does not appear in the Marketplace list
Likely cause: A search filter may be active or the integration was not saved.
How to solve: Clear the search field and confirm the integration was saved successfully.
Issue: Credential does not appear in My Integration Credentials
Likely cause: A search filter may be active or the credential was not saved.
How to solve: Clear the search field and confirm the credential was saved successfully.
Issue: Product is not available in the dropdown
Likely cause: The product may not be configured or available for the current user.
How to solve: Contact the system administrator to confirm product availability and permissions.
Issue: Integration does not work after saving
Likely cause: Additional setup may be required outside Exceed, or credentials may be missing.
How to solve: Confirm the related credential exists in My Integration Credentials and verify any required setup in the external product.
Issue: Duplicate integration or credential was created
Likely cause: The existing record was not found before creating a new one.
How to solve: Search for the product first before creating a new integration or credential.
